Commemorating Luxman’s 100th anniversary, the D-100 CENTENNIAL SACD/CD/DAC marks a significant evolution in flagship disc-player performance. As the successor to the highly regarded D-10X, the D-100 CENTENNIAL introduces a complete overhaul of the disc drive, digital circuitry, and analog stages. For the listener who demands the highest level of musical expression, this model represents the new gold standard.
Why the D-100 CENTENNIAL Surpasses the D-10
Version 1.1 LIFES Feedback Engine
The D-100 is the first disc player to integrate Luxman’s renewed LIFES (Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System). Version 1.1 improves error detection precision through a parallelized input stage, resulting in a more vibrant and natural sound.
Reinforced LxDTM-i Transport
The proprietary "Luxman original Disc Transport Mechanism - improved" now integrates the transport directly with the main chassis for extreme rigidity. It features a new 8mm-thick aluminum base plate to further isolate the assembly from vibrations.
Flagship ROHM "MUS-IC" DAC
The digital stage utilizes a dual-mono configuration of ROHM's latest BD34302EKV chips. This enables support for PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit and DSD up to 22.5MHz via USB.
Expanded OLED Interface
Visibility has been dramatically improved with a large, high-definition OLED display that is approximately 70% larger than the D-10X display. It includes a 4x zoom mode and a 4-step dimmer for a premium user experience.
The D-100 CENTENNIAL is designed to reveal not just the recording, but the very atmosphere of the performance.
