3-Way Floorstanding Speaker

These 3-way Thiel CS 3.6 in the much regarded amberwood finish use a 10in woofer, a 4.5in midrange, and a 1in metal-dome tweeter. A 10in passive bass radiator extends the CS 3.6's LF range, replacing the sealed-box loading of its predecessor, the CS 3.5. All the drivers in the CS 3.6 were designed by Jim Thiel and built to his specifications by Vifa in Denmark. The metal-dome tweeter, the same unit used in the CS5, features a long excursion (±1.5mm) and has a high resonant frequency (27kHz). This driver is crossed over at 3kHz to the 4.5" midrange driver, which features a unique patented design. As with all Thiel loudspeakers, the crossover is a true acoustic first-order (6dB/octave) type.

March 1999 vintage Krell FPB-350Mc mono amps. Upgraded to “Mcx” version in 2004. Taken in trade from original owner who is downsizing. Good condition save for some small marks/scratches here and there due to age and to being moved around in customers system from time to time. After being traded in to The Audio Store, these were taken to Krell in March 2023 for over $2,500 of service/maintenance work including replacing all capacitors and the front blue LEDs. Have not been used since being serviced by Krell. Service invoices are included. Includes original Krell packing materials.

This pair of Klipsch La Scala AL4's were manufactured in the late 1990s. These La Scala's do not include grills. The cabinent wood is in excellent condition (no scratches or dents), however the cabinents were refinished by the customer, not by a professional.

These late '90s Klipsch La Scala AL4 speakers utilize a 3-way horn loaded design featuring the K-77-F tweeter and K-55-X midrange and 15in horn woofer, the updated versions of the original La Scala drivers. They also feature the updated bi-wire AL4 crossover with polypropylene capacitors.

The RC-64 employs four 6.5-inch high-output woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics. Klipsch Tapered Array technology operates all of the woofers at the lowest frequencies – maintaining the high output capability necessary for good center channel performance – but only two operate all the way through the midrange to where the tweeter takes over. This eliminates acoustic interference between the woofer outputs.
